First- her sister kitty, who has been thru hell and back countless times with puppy. Those girls NEVER let anyone come between them, not jezza and definitely not Kt. So puppy couldn't leave her sis, who was reassuring her that things will get better, that pup is loved more then she will ever know and she deserves only the best in life.
Second- her Carebear- pup is so in love with that man, that she can't imagine trying to live without him.
Third- her Guy, although (regretfully) not in his collar no more, him and puppy have an unbreakable trust. puppy would go thru hell for this man as he has always protected his pup. There was no way pup could allow some pain that will eventually fade away stop her from being there for him. Even now he still kicks puppy's ass when she gets off track, knowing that he is the only one that can tell it like it is and although pup doesn't like what she hears sometimes, she listens simply cuz she respects and loves him.
Fourth- her Raven, who has been so very protective of puppy and her sister kitty. she didn't want to bring any heartache into Raven's life, who has become like a mother to puppy.
So after the Visitor, puppy deleted her kennel and packed away her stuff. Just needing to take a little timeout and get herself together. puppy & kitty still have over 3 weeks of rent paid on their little place, so there was no rush to make any decisions right away. All puppy knew is the things that once brought her so much comfort, right now she couldn't bare to look at cuz they all had so many memories attached... both good and bad. While she was getting stuff packed up she gets an im from a guy named Julian who she has never talked to before. He asked if she was owned or not. Apparently this guy had not read her profile or he would have seen the first sentence says "DO NOT ASK about my collar or you get blocked". But she reluctantly took the tp offer he sent, not sure why, she didn't want to be around anyone tonight, yet she was afraid to be alone tonight.
This guy turned out to be creepy, telling her that she was not to leave without permission. pup was like "Excuse me?? you do NOT own me" then he replied "its called being polite" He asked to collar her, but she refused. He pointed out (his opinion which was NOT asked for) that girls like puppy don't do well without a Master. puppy told him she is gonna take her chances on her own and wait til her Master comes back. He said "he won't, and if he did how could she ever trust him again?" DAYUM this guy is being nosy and pushy.. *shakes head* pup growled and replied "i will wait. i have always trusted him, i cant help it" He replied that she should take her chances with him, that he would take good care of her. give her a home.. a purpose" yadda,,yadda.. pup again politely refused. After about 20 minutes the guy finally (THANKFULLY) gave up and puppy went back home.
What didn't seem to be understood by the guy was that puppy is NOT looking for another collar. she has had 4 now. Out of those 4, she only truly trusts 1 of her Ex Owners as he has never hurt her, as least not in ways she didn't like *but there was plenty of his dartgun and crates shivers blushing* IF puppy does go into another collar, it will be after her heart has healed, it will be when she is ready, and it will be with a Man that understands her past and her fears of failing yet another Owner.
Needless to say puppy was upset by the chat with Julian, so she did what she always does when upset or scared, she ran to Guy. she im'ed him, showing him the chat. He let her come over and they talked for a while. He reminded her that she has to stay on track that pup can't let ANYONE ruin her progress she has made. pup nodded in agreement. Guy then got pup on the path to recovering from the pain. He had her take off her "beautiful submissive" tag from her Ex's group, her tattoo of her Ex's brand on her lower back and the claw marks on her chest. puppy protested taking off the claw marks saying that it wasn't related to her Ex, but Guy reminded her that he knew what the marks meant and that it was time they go away. puppy wanted to scream at him, to lash out at him, why was he being so mean to her? (or so she felt). But obediently did as she was asked knowing it was being done in her best interest.
Guy pointed out an important fact when pup was reluctant to change her tag, that she was just a name in the group but not truly a part of her Ex's group no more. That while she is sitting here crying that her Ex was on his alt (pup knew cuz of her hud). Whenever Guy says 4 specific words "pup i know you" it causes a painful lump in pup's throat, as its a reminder that her normal tactics to avoid uncomfortable situations are not going to work, that she will have to face the problem and figure out a way to get it solved.
puppy was up an hour past her internet curfew, but did feel a little better. she actually laffed at one point during her chat with her old friend. she gave him huggles and then signed off for the night. a very restless night for her indeed as she slept 3 hours IF that, then got up at 7am and went for a long walk. during her walk she said softly to herself "mor**la you have no power over me" and felt the crushing weight on her broken heart being lifted off a bit. Whenever she started to get too upset thru out the day she would repeat that saying to herself, as if reassuring herself of it.
Then about 8am, she logged into secondlife. Guy didn't seem so happy as pup was still hanging out at her little place. But with a little guidance, pup found the strength to update her profile, change her profile pic and to take off the locked collar. This was really hard for pup to do, but it was very necessary if she was to ever begin to heal. puppy also went thru her picture frame and took out several pics.
puppy knows without her sis kitty, her Carebear, her Guy and her Raven that she wouldn't properly recover, hell knowing pup, she would've given up and said FuDaShi (FuDatShit) and not cared about anything. but they refuse to let her give up and she doesn't want to let them down.
It will be interesting to see what destiny has in store for this little puppy. Whatever it is, pup will face it head on knowing that no matter what she is never truly alone as she has 4 amazing OMG protective people watching over her, guiding her, loving her and most importantly refusing to give up on her.
